Q. Does it cost extra to drive in the city and on the freeways?

At U-will Drive driving school giving you the best possible experience on the road in what’s important to us so it is of no extra cost to travel on freeways and in the city.

 


Q. Can I bring my toddler to my driving lessons?

 

U-will drive school is a baby friendly school. You can bring your little one along for your lesson as long as you supply your own baby or booster seat.


   

Q. I want to get a car learner permit. What do I need to do?

 

A. You will need to study the Road to Solo Driving handbook and then make a booking by calling Vic Roads on 13 11 71 to take a knowledge test based on our road rules and driver responsibilities. Find out more.

Q. How old do I have to be to get my learners?

A. You must be 16 years of age or older.

Q. How many lessons will I need before I get my licence?

A. Many things impact on how quickly or slowly it takes for people to learn the necessary skills for driving. Depending on the attitude and ability of the individual it generally takes between 5- 15 lessons.

Q. What do I need to bring to my driving lessons?

A. You need to bring your current learner's permit. You may also bring a temporary permit which is issued by Vic roads, or an international drivers licence. If your permit does not have a photo, you will need to bring other photo identification (ie student ID, passport etc).

Q. I want to get my probationary car licence. What do I need to do?

A. Once you have held your learner permit for the minimum time, and have recorded at least 120 hours of driving including ten hours at night (if you are under 21 years of age), you can book your test online or call us on 13 11 71 to make an appointment for a hazard perception test and a driving test.
